Common Interest

We all profess to sincerely care for our chosen dog breed and want to see it thrive.  Why is it then that so many people, dogs and breeds currently circle the drain?  What are we missing or doing wrong that prevents this common goal from being successful?  Surely no one seriously involved in dogs wants to see their breed suffer as health problems (and all the side effects that accompany them) become a burden which only make dreams go up in smoke. Sure as sure, none of us wants this to personally affect our own dogs and plans. So why do we sabotage the breed we care about by making choices that will only come back to haunt us?  There are probably as many reasons as there are people.

While I cannot guarantee a solution or prevention of health problems, I can point out better breeding choices for your next litter (or to help you select a puppy for the responsible purpose you wish to pursue).  The decision is yours.  And best of all, it's not going to cost you anything but some of your time as you will need to read, research and request.

Comments and questions are welcome!  Please take a minute to complete the health survey when there is one available and if you would like to help the Mudi breed even more, please let me know about the health issue/s your Mudi has so I can help to lessen the chance it will happen again in other litters. Any information you provide will be held in the strictest confidence should you request it.  Email: gonduzomudi@gmail.com
Thank you!
